Calculation of gabion walls in static and seismic conditions, and in the presence of groundwater, according to NTC 2018 & Circ. 2019 and Eurocode 7/8.

Gabion walls are box-like structures made of wire mesh, filled on-site with stones of suitable characteristics and size.
Thanks to their characteristics of flexibility, permeability, and monolithicity, gabion walls are widely used for slope consolidation, road, railway, hydraulic, and architectural applications.
The Gabions online application allows performing geotechnical ULS verifications (sliding, overturning, and bearing capacity), both in static and seismic conditions. It is possible to arrange the blocks in up to five rows.
In addition to the above-mentioned verifications, the application allows performing the punching verification of the wire mesh and considering the increase in thrust due to the surcharge on the embankment.
It is also possible to manage the combination factors of actions and geotechnical parameters as regulated by national and international standards.
