The application allows for the calculation of earth pressure on walls under both static and seismic conditions, the seismic pressure increment, the active earth pressure coefficient, the point of application of the thrust, and the inclination of the failure wedge relative to the horizontal.
Under static conditions, the active earth pressure coefficient is determined using the solution proposed by Coulomb:
KA= cos2 (φ-θ)/(cos2θ·cos(δ+θ)[1+(sen(δ+φ)·sen(φ-β)/(cos(δ+θ)·cos(β-θ)))0.5]2)
In the presence of an earthquake, the Mononobe-Okabe method is applied:
KAE= cos2 (φ-θ-ψ)/(cosψ·cos2θ·cos(δ+θ+ψ)[1+(sen(δ+φ)·sen(φ-β-ψ)/(cos(δ+θ+ψ)·cos(β-θ)))0.5]2)
